Code Share Partnership with SriLankan Airlines

One of the key aspects that make Cinnamon Air standout from the rest of the Sri Lankan domestic airline operators is that Cinnamon Air is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and all scheduled flights are operated in code share with the national carrier, SriLankan Airlines. Thereby, flights are available for sale globally to passengers, throughout the SriLankan Airlines network and all Travel Agents around the world via Global Distribution Systems, under a “UL” designated flight number as well as a Cinnamon Air “C7” designated flight number.

This strategic partnership demonstrates the two organisations’ commitment to enhance the country’s tourism image and promote Sri Lanka in key-tourist generating markets, as a country that provides various unique experiences for its visitors.

In honour of the partnership between the two airlines, Cinnamon Air has branded one of its two Cessna 208 Amphibian aircraft with SriLankan AirTaxi livery, ensuring the goodwill and continuity of this agreement in the years to come.
